Paul Owens, Original Dog Whisperer! Paul is an official member of the ADPT-Association of Pet Dog trainers; has been certified by the Certification Council of Pet Dog Trainers, and is endorsed by The National Association of Dog Obedience Instructors.
Dog Whisperer Paul Owens has appeared on numerous radio and television programs, including PBS's Pets: Part of the Family and the nationally syndicated Pet Files. His articles and interviews have appeared in regional and national magazines and newspapers, including Life Mgazine, Animal Wellness Magazine, The Pet Press, The Cleveland Plain Dealer, LA Parent, The Burbank Leader, and the Association of Pet Dog Trainers Newsletter, among others.
Paul is the author of 1999's best-selling book, The Dog Whisperer: A Compassionate Nonviolent Approach to Dog Training now released again in an updated 2nd Edition, (2007) as well as the newly released Puppy Whisperer. He is featured on his dog training DVDs, The Dog Whisperer: Beginning and Intermediate Dog Training, and the new Dog Whisperer: Solving Common Behavior Problems.
His specialty is in the evaluation and behavior modification of aggressive dogs and he is frequently consulted and referred by veterinarians. Jeff Probst, Host-Survivor, uses Paul exclusively with the highest of praise.
